Sasha Fay

Sasha Fay has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Currently, they are the Director of Digital Analytics at OLG. Prior to this, they worked at Sheridan College as a Lecturer in Data Science, where they taught students various aspects of data analysis and visualization. Additionally, they served as the Co-Lead for Communications at Data for Good - Waterloo Region, where they utilized data to help non-profit organizations make informed decisions. In their previous roles at Cineplex Digital Media, they held positions as Director, Senior Manager, Manager, and Data Scientist in the field of data science and analytics. Before that, they worked at Mosaic Sales Solutions as a Solutions Manager and Program Manager.

Sasha Fay has a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Waterloo, which was completed between 2005 and 2010. In 2018 and 2019, Sasha attended the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, where they obtained a Master of Management Analytics degree and achieved the top student position. Sasha has also obtained several additional certifications, including Tableau Desktop Specialist, Judge for the Technovation Challenge, Applied Analytics Using SAS Enterprise Miner, and TCPS 2: Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans.
