Brian Henson

Brian Henson has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of Information Technology and cybersecurity. Brian is currently working as the Deputy Director of Information Technology (and Cybersecurity) at Olgoonik Corporation, where they provide strategic advisement on technology strategy and cybersecurity to drive operational improvements. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Technology Security Specialist at the same company.

Before joining Olgoonik Corporation, Brian served as the Information Technology Site Lead at COMSO, Inc. for a brief period in 2021. Brian also had a long and successful career in the United States Air Force, where they held several senior positions. These included roles such as Senior Knowledge Manager, Senior IT Project Manager, Air Force Enterprise Information Services Manager, Chief of Knowledge Management Center, Executive Communications & Client Support, and Client Systems Manager.

Additionally, Brian has also worked at the National Security Agency, where they served as an Information System Security Officer. Brian also held positions such as Deputy Chief, Capabilities Division, and Chief of Staff, Capabilities Division at the agency. Furthermore, they gained experience as the Data, Communication, and Integration Manager at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and as a Biometric Data Analyst at NATO International Security Allied Forces (ISAF).

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated their expertise in technology strategy, cybersecurity, project management, knowledge management, and executive communications.

Brian Henson completed their Master's of Science in Management, with a specialization in Information Technology and Project Management, from Colorado Technical University in 2022. From 2015 to 2019, they attended American Military University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, Brian earned an Associate of Science degree in Information Management from the Community College of the Air Force. Additionally, they received an Associate of Science degree in Aerospace Technology from the same institution from 2006 to 2009. In terms of certifications, Brian has acquired various credentials including Cybersecurity Leadership and Management, CMMC AB Registered Practitioner, CompTIA Security+CE, Certified Knowledge Manager, ITIL® v3 Foundation, Adoption and Change Management, and Lean SIX SIGMA Green Belt Certification (GB).
