Gareth Main is the current Director of Growth & BI at OLIO. Prior to this, they were the Director of Growth and Marketing at Elder HQ from March 2019 to September 2021. Gareth was responsible for Brand marketing, Growth, B2B, CRM, and Research & Insights. Some of their notable accomplishments include being highly commended for the Best Small Budget Use of TV at the Thinkbox / Campaign TV Planning Awards 2021 and increasing customer growth by 293% YOY in 2020.

Before Elder HQ, Gareth was the Head of Marketing Planning & Strategy at Guardian News & Media from November 2011 to September 2018. Gareth led the Guardian's consumer marketing Planning team in delivering a customer-focused marketing strategy, designing the optimum commercial customer journeys to maximise revenue for the business and support brand growth.

Gareth's first job was as a Copywriter [contract] at Sainsburys from March 2009 to April 2009.

Gareth Main's educational career includes a postgraduate diploma in direct and digital marketing from the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, a BA in media and communication (journalism) from Birmingham City University, and certifications from Reforge in advanced growth strategy, CIM in MCIM, and Squared Online.
