Bernardo Teixeira da Mota has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Bernardo started their career as a System Administrator at Rei das Fardas in 1992 before moving on to Tecnidata as a Product/Project Manager in 1994. In 1997, they worked at the Ministry of Culture as a Customer Care representative for the Terravista project. From 1996 to 2000, they were an Administrator and Technology Consultant for Conteúdos XXI - Consultoria de Gestão.

In 2001, Bernardo became the Director of Information Technology and Telecommunications at Gestoprata, overseeing multiple associated companies and their technological needs. Bernardo then became a self-employed consultant, providing management consultancy, leadership training, team building, and IT consultancy services. During this time, they worked with clients such as Oficina da Lapa, Skysurf Veras Produções, and ACUL-Aero Clube Universitário de Lisboa.

In 2005, Bernardo joined Portugal Telecom as a Senior Consultant, specializing in product and marketing consultancy on the SAPO portal. Bernardo was responsible for various SAPO services and teams, including Client Support, Blogs, Photos, Mail, Maps, Messenger, Search, and Videos. Bernardo also provided online security consultancy.

Currently, Bernardo Teixeira da Mota holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Olisipo, a role they have held since May 2017.

Bernardo Teixeira da Mota pursued their education from 1996 to 1996 at Liceu Camões, where they earned a 12º grade degree in Ciências. Bernardo later attended Universidade Independente, specializing in Computer Engineering from 1999 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Bernardo also obtained a Certified Professional Behaviour Analyst (CPBA) certification from TTI Success Insights in January 2019.
