Albert Alises Sorribas has worked in the technology industry since 2015. Albert began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at King's College London's Biomedical Engineering department in the Medical Image Computing group. In 2016, they moved to BCN-MedTech as a Software Engineer for the R&D department at SimBioSys. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at QMENTA Inc., where they developed and maintained a wide range of applications and new visualization and interaction tools for neuroimaging data. In 2019, they joined Kiwi.com as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where they took technical ownership of the HelpCenter/FAQ/Contact module, which is visited by around 200k people per day. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Oliva as a Founding Engineer and Engineering Lead, where they built and architected the product from scratch and hired the core engineering team.

Albert Alises Sorribas received a Master's Degree (MSc.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from RMIT University from 2015 to 2016. Albert also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2012 to 2016. Albert also has a long history of music education, having obtained a Basic/Intermediate music and harmony, Piano and Bass guitar education from Artmusic Music School from 1999 to 2011.
