Galina Donevska

Galina Donevska has a diverse range of work experience in the mental health field. Their most recent position is as a Mental Health Adviser at the University of Kent, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, Galina worked as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Oliva from December 2022. Galina also held the role of Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Everyturn Mental Health from December 2022 to May 2023.

Before their roles in mental health, Galina worked at With You as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner from April 2021 to December 2022, and as a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner from April 2020 to April 2021.

In addition, Galina gained experience as a Support Worker/Key Worker at WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS LTD from November 2017 to April 2020. Galina also worked as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist at Addaction from January 2019 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, Galina worked at Carluccio's as a Barista/Waitress/Team Leader from August 2015 to August 2018.

Galina also contributed their skills and knowledge through voluntary work at Kent Refugee Action Network as a Teaching Assistant from February 2015 to June 2015. In this role, they supported recently arrived unaccompanied 16-18-year-old refugees with various life skills, literacy, numeracy, social, and cultural skills, while also helping them adjust to their new circumstances and environment.

From 2020 to 2021, Galina studied at the University of Surrey and earned a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Advanced Practice in Psychological Wellbeing.

In the years 2014 to 2016, Galina attended the University of Kent and completed a Master's Degree in Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology.

From 2011 to 2014, Galina studied at the University of Kent and received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology and Social Anthropology.

During the period of 2006 to 2011, Galina attended the Secondary School for Mathematics and Natural Sciences and obtained a High School degree with a focus on Mathematics, English, and IT.

In addition to their formal education, Galina has also obtained various certifications. In September 2022, they completed PWP Supervision Training at the University of Surrey. In April 2020, they received a certification in Psychological First Aid from Coursera. In January 2018, Galina obtained a Care Certificate from Highfield.
