Sergio Toro Castaño

Sergio Toro Castaño has been working in the software engineering industry since 2011. Sergio started their career as a Junior Full Stack Developer at Totbits Solutions SL, where they were responsible for direct contact with customers, requirements analysis, estimation and dimensioning of projects, and development. Sergio then moved to Series.ly in 2012 as a Backend Developer, where they worked on the analysis and implementation of a micro framework (InitMVC) using SVN and PHP 5. In 2013, they joined Greenpowermonitor as a Software Developer. In 2015, they joined TravelPerk as a Software Engineer and then moved to Kodify Media Group in 2017, where they worked as a Remote Software Developer, Remote Lead Developer, and Remote Software Developer. Currently, they are working as a Senior DevOps Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Oliva since 2022.

Sergio Toro Castaño studied at IES El Calamot from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Development of IT Applications in the field of Informatics. Sergio then studied at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Grado en Ingeniería Informática in the field of Informatics. In November 2014, they obtained a certification in Real-Time Web with Node.js from Code School.
