Tania Barresi

Tania Barresi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tania has most recently served as the Head of People and Culture at Olive since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Vendor Manager at the same company since July 2018.

From 2014 to 2021, Tania worked as an Actor at InspirationAll Talent and Modeling Agency.

Tania co-founded Leggings.ca in 2015 and served as the Co-Founder until February 2018. During their time there, they played a key role in building and supporting the growth of the Canadian-based leggings retailer. Their responsibilities included various tasks such as e-commerce, social media marketing, branding and communications, product photography, wholesale management, strategic partnerships, coordination of photoshoots, admin/accounting work, retail management, and local and ethical sourcing.

Before that, they had a brief tenure at Randstad Technologies, where they held multiple roles. From 2014 to 2014, they worked as an Account Manager, managing relationships with clients and providing IT staffing solutions. In 2013, they served as a Business Development Executive, focusing on lead generation and landing key accounts. Earlier that year, they worked as an IT Recruitment Consultant, placing candidates in IT positions with enterprise-level clients across Western Canada.

Tania also has experience working at Selfridges, where they served as a Department Manager for The Gallery Restaurant and Champagne Bar from 2011 to 2013. Their responsibilities included training and recruiting new hires, junior manager development, organizing and managing teams, mentoring staff, and maximizing sales through promotions and building relationships with high-profile guests.

Prior to that, Tania was the Owner/Operator of Bars In Action, a mobile cocktail and flair bartender service based in the UK from 2010 to 2013.

Through their diverse work experience, Tania has gained expertise in areas such as people and culture management, vendor management, acting, e-commerce, social media marketing, branding, retail management, staffing, business development, recruitment, and customer service.

Tania Barresi began their education in 2005 at the University of Windsor, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Dramatic Arts, Media, Communication and Film. Tania completed their studies at this institution in 2009. In 2008, they also had the opportunity to participate in a Scholarship Exchange Program at the University of Plymouth, where they focused on Performance Art.
