Owen Song

Owen Song has had a long and successful career in the tech industry. In 2007, they began working as a Design Engineer for Samsung Electronics, where they led the Next Generation Note PC 2008 Project from ideation to finalized mock-up and proposed digital devices for educational uses. Owen also researched and analyzed sensor-based interactive User Interface and next generation GUI solutions for target users. In 2016, they founded and became CEO of Olive Union, a company that creates “smart hearing enhancement” products and related services with a mission to get rid of the social stigma around hearing loss and to transform the hearing aid market.

Owen Song has a comprehensive education history in the field of Architecture. Owen received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2013, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the same institution in 2012, and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in 2014. Prior to this, they attended the Samsung Art & Design Institute from 2006 to 2008, studying Industrial and Product Design.
