Mauricio Ordonez

Mauricio Ordonez has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Mauricio is currently serving as the Division CTO at olive.com since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Uproar.car as the Vice President of Engineering from May 2019. Mauricio successfully built and managed a team, leading the engineering strategy until the company was acquired. Mauricio also worked at Cox Automotive Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer from May 2018 to May 2019, where they led the professional services team and customized and integrated the remarketing services platform. Mauricio served as an Engineering Lead at CareerBuilder from November 2016 to May 2018, where they built and managed a team responsible for applications like Resume Database and Job Posting. Before that, they were a .Net Lead Developer at SEDC - Multiservice from March 2014 to November 2016, where they supervised development and served as a lead developer. Earlier in their career, Mauricio worked as a Software Engineer at Bibliotheca, where they developed technology solutions for the library market, and as an Intern at Vascent, where they developed modules for an online auction and shopping website. Mauricio also served as a Student Assistant at Kennesaw State University, where they participated in a research project and co-authored papers related to UML Modeling. Additionally, Mauricio worked as a Macromedia Product Manager at Nexsys, where they developed business plans and identified new resellers, and as an E-Development Engineer at Vision Software.

Mauricio Ordonez has a strong educational background in computer science, with a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science from Kennesaw State University. Mauricio completed this degree from 2005 to 2007. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering and Computing from Universidad de Los Andes, a prestigious institution, from 1995 to 2001. Additionally, Mauricio attended the English Language Institute at the University of Florida in 1999.
