Santiago Marquez Velez

Santiago Marquez Velez has work experience in multiple companies. Santiago started their career as an Aprendiz at Valores Bancolombia in June 2018, where they worked until December 2018. Santiago then joined Bancolombia in March 2019 as a Científico de datos and continued working there until April 2022. Currently, Santiago is working as a Business Intelligence Engineer at olive.com since April 2022. In this role, they are responsible for identifying relevant data sources for business needs, transforming datasets into valuable knowledge through cards and dashboards, and managing and following up on all the company's dashboards.

Santiago Marquez Velez pursued their education in a chronological sequence. From 2013 to 2019, they attended the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and obtained a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Estadística (Statistics). Later, in 2020, they enrolled at the same university to complete a specialization in Ingeniería financiera (Financial Engineering), which they completed in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Santiago Marquez Velez has also acquired additional certifications. In December 2020, they completed a diploma in Análisis de datos y machine learning en Python (Data Analysis and Machine Learning in Python) from the Universidad de Antioquia. Furthermore, in January 2022, they obtained a certificate in CURSO: TENDENCIAS DEL SECTOR FINANCIERO (COURSE: Trends in the Financial Sector) from the Universidad EAFIT.
