Tomás Pabón Palacio

Tomás Pabón Palacio has work experience in the field of data science and academia. Tomás currently works as a Data Scientist at olive.com since 2022. Alongside their current role, they are also an Assistant Professor at Universidad de Medellín since 2022, where they teach a statistical learning course for non-statistical students in Project Management on a part-time basis. Prior to this, Tomás worked at Bancolombia. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Data Scientist, focusing on analyzing, developing, deploying, and monitoring statistical and mathematical risk models for credit with large volumes of data. Tomás also worked on fraud-related data science projects from 2018 to 2020, where they analyzed, developed, deployed, and monitored statistical and mathematical fraud models with big data. Before becoming a Data Scientist at Bancolombia, Tomás worked as an intern at the company from December 2017 to June 2018.

Tomás Pabón Palacio began their education in 2013 at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they studied Statistics until 2019. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree. In 2016, they attended the College of Southern Nevada for a brief period, but no information regarding a degree or field of study is provided. Later, in 2019, Tomás enrolled at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia once again, this time pursuing a degree in Analytic Expert in the field of Analytics. This program concluded in 2020.
