Jamie Mortimer

Jamie Mortimer began their work experience in the film industry as a Production Assistant at Had To Be Made Pictures from July 2006 to August 2007. They then worked as a Design & Personal Assistant at Studio 657 & Lacy Road Gallery from January 2008 to August 2009. Jamie then transitioned to a role as a Production & Design Assistant at Next Step Studios from July 2009 to August 2010. Following that, they worked as a Specialist at Apple Flagship Store from August 2010 to March 2014, where they provided customer training and technical assistance and coordinated with production teams and film crew for in-store events. From February 2014 to February 2016, Jamie worked as an Online & Digital Designer at Big Talk Productions, responsible for creating online and social promotional materials for film and TV projects. They then joined Tonic Agency Ltd as Lead Digital Designer from March 2016 to December 2016, overseeing digital design development and managing freelance designers. In 2017, Jamie worked as a UI Designer at Property_Partner from March to July, focusing on website design and user journey. They also established their own freelance business, Jamie Mortimer Design Ltd, where they worked as a Freelance Senior Motion Graphics & Digital Designer since January 2017, collaborating with various clients across multi-channel creative campaigns. Finally, Jamie currently holds the position of Senior Motion Designer at OLIVER Agency since April 2021, and they have recently been promoted to the role of Motion Design Manager in October 2022.

Jamie Mortimer attended various educational institutions throughout their life. In 1990, they enrolled at Norland Place, a private preparatory school located in London, United Kingdom. Jamie completed their primary education there and graduated in 1993.

Following this, Jamie attended St Paul's School, specifically the Colet Court division, from 1993 to 1997. This was their secondary education, and they received their degree from the institution.

From 1997 to 2002, Jamie continued their education at Latymer Upper School, located in London, United Kingdom. During this time, they studied for their GSCE and A Levels.

In 2003, Jamie enrolled at Oxford Brookes University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sound Technology & Media Production. They completed their studies in this field, graduating in 2006.

To further enhance their skills, Jamie attended the School of Motion in 2017, participating in Animation Bootcamp to specialize in motion graphics. They completed the program successfully and obtained the Principles of Animation certification from the institution in September 2017.
