Mauro Montoya

Mauro Montoya has held a variety of roles in the art and design industry since 2010. In 2010, they were the Art Director for Social Security & Medicare Newspaper. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Owner and Art Director of ArtFest Magazine and the President, Owner, and Creative Director of MiM Design Studio USA, Inc. In 2013, they became the Art Director of the Publishing Department for Doral News in Doral, Florida. In 2014, they became the Art & Production Director for Aqui Colombia USA. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Art Director for Doral Times, 7 DIAS DE NOTICIAS NEWSPAPER, and EL Despertar Newspaper. In 2018, they joined the Printing Department at Park West Gallery as a SwissQPrint Flat Bed Printer & Sublimation Heat Press Operator. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Print Files Creator & Set Up at The Oliver Gal Artist Co.

Mauro Montoya has a professional education in graphic design, photography, and illustration. From 1997 to 1999, they attended Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and earned a Professional Graphic Designer degree. From 1990 to 1993, they attended Corporación Universitaria Taller 5 and earned a Diseñador Gráfico degree, with a focus on graphic design, photography, and illustration.
