Vera Thewes

Vera Thewes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Erdbeerlounge GmbH until 2010. From 2011 to 2013, they held the position of Studentische Hilfskraft at K3 Pool GmbH Agentur Atelier and Linda AG. In 2013, they started their own business, Vera Thewes Design, where they worked as a Freelance Art Director until 2014. Vera then joined Oliver Schrott Kommunikation GmbH, initially as a Graphic Designer from 2014 to 2016, then as an Art Director from 2016 to 2021. Currently, Vera holds the position of Senior Art Director at Oliver Schrott Kommunikation GmbH since 2022.

Vera Thewes has a diverse education history. Vera began their studies in 2005 at bib International College Paderborn, where they obtained a degree in Medieninformatik, specifically as a Staatlich geprüfte Informatikerin Multimedia. In 2008, they enrolled at Köln International School of Design and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Design, which they earned in 2013. During their time at Köln International School of Design, Vera Thewes also attended Parsons School of Design - The New School in 2010 for a brief period, focusing on Transdisciplinary Design. In 2011, they attended The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design (PolyU Design) for a year, specializing in Visual Communication. Additionally, in 2012, Vera Thewes briefly enrolled at Philadelphia University, where they pursued Industrial Design.
