Sandro Nickel

Sandro Nickel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and various roles in international and cultural settings. Currently serving as a Guide at Nordjyske Museer since June 2023, Sandro is also an External Examiner for the International Baccalaureate since 2021 and has held various positions at Aalborg Universitet, including PhD Fellow, Teaching Assistant Professor, and External Lecturer since 2011. Additional experience includes working as an SPS Vejleder at Olivia Danmark since August 2021, and as an English-German and Danish-German Translator at Semantix from September 2022 to April 2023. Sandro has also contributed as a Guest Researcher at the University of St Andrews in 2017 and completed an internship at the Council of the European Union in 2009. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Aalborg University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
