Senior Product Development Manager at OLLY

Perri Berman is currently working as a Product Development Manager at OLLY PBC since November 2020. Prior to this, Perri worked at Del Monte Foods, Inc. as an R&D Scientist from September 2018 to October 2020. In this role, Perri led R&D projects and developed products across various business units. Perri also gained experience in different processing technologies.

Before joining Del Monte Foods, Inc., Perri worked at Plum Organics as an R&D Associate Technologist from June 2017 to August 2018. During this time, Perri formulated innovative puree products and led culinary recipe development. Perri oversaw plant trials and first productions to assess operational challenges for commercialized products.

Perri also has experience as a Nutrition Consultant - Contract at The Culinary Edge in July 2017 and as a Culinary Intern at The Culinary Edge from October 2016 to May 2017. These positions involved working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, developing creative and innovative projects, and enhancing product prototyping and flavor development skills.

Additionally, Perri worked as a Student Assistant at California Polytechnic State University in 2016 and as a Foodsters Intern at Food Industry Foundation Internship from September 2015 to June 2016. Perri conducted research, formulated products, and gained experience in the food industry.

Before that, Perri served as an Intern at Gliding Eagle Inc from June 2015 to August 2015, where Perri conducted market research and aided in coding an e-commerce website for natural/organic foods and supplements.

Perri's work experience also includes an Product Innovation Internship at Annie's Inc. in June 2014 and a Mix Tech Internship at LifeSpice Ingredients in June 2013.

Perri Berman graduated from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science. After completing the undergraduate program, no information is provided about any further education until 2019. In 2019, Perri enrolled at UC Berkeley Extension and obtained a Project Management Certificate in the following year, 2020.

In addition to the formal education, Perri holds several certifications. In 2018, Perri obtained the "Shipping Dry Ice" certification from Lion Technology Inc. In 2017, Perri completed the "Better Process Control School" certification offered by the University of Tennessee. Most recently, in 2020, Perri obtained the "Food Protection Manager Certification" from the American National Standards Institute.
