Steve Knight

Steve Knight has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Steve started their career as the Technical Manager for Theatr Mwldan, where they managed the technical department and oversaw the redevelopment of technical facilities. Steve then ventured into digital media production as the Director of Creative Mwldan Creadigidol. Steve later served as the Director/Developer at ap Ogam.

In 2013, Steve joined Shelter Cymru as the Digital Programme Coordinator, where they successfully managed the organization's £90k digital inclusion project. This involved completing the procurement process, providing organization-wide training, and implementing various digital systems.

Steve honed their software engineering skills at CafeX Communications, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Steve then joined Shelter Cymru again, this time as a Web Developer. In this role, they developed and maintained hybrid mobile apps and created a WebRTC-based audio/video/chat system.

As the Proprietor of knight-ware, Steve focused on web and hybrid mobile development using Cordova/React, as well as digital media production. Steve partnered with artist/animator Séan Vicary at tinderfarm since 2009, filming and editing The Do Lectures, an annual ideas conference.

Steve's most recent position was as a Software Engineer at OLM Group, where they specialized in front-end development using React and performed end-to-end testing using Cypress.
