Anthony Whitford

Anthony Whitford has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Anthony is currently working as the Managing Director of Data & Enabling Technology at Olmstead Associates. In this role, they are responsible for leading the data management and technology practice, driving strategy and implementation for asset managers. Anthony oversees all consultants and engagements in this field.

Prior to their current position, Anthony worked at Western Asset Management for 12 years, where they served as the Head of IT Common Services. Anthony led and managed the IT Common Services group, overseeing application delivery teams and IT servicing teams. Anthony collaborated with business sponsors and department heads to develop vision, roadmap, and identify projects. Anthony was also responsible for managing a team of 80 and an annual budget of $15M+, influencing an overall IT budget of over $60M.

Before that, Anthony held multiple roles at FFTW. Anthony served as the Chief Technology Officer, where they managed the Global Asset Management Technology Group and oversaw system architecture, application development, integration projects, and support for key systems. Anthony also worked as the Head of Application Development, managing proprietary application development and systems integration projects throughout the firm. Additionally, Anthony served as a Senior Computer Systems Analyst, playing a key role in the development of the PRISM project.

Early in their career, Anthony worked at MPR Teltech as a Team Lead. Anthony designed and developed software for the Real Estate industry and acted as a key designer for the next generation of MLS software.

Anthony Whitford attended Simon Fraser University from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications in Leadership Foundations from LinkedIn, which they obtained in August 2019, and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, obtained in September 2017.
