Powell Cindy

Powell Cindy is a seasoned mental health professional currently working at the Southeast Regional Crisis Center under Olmsted County Minnesota since October 2022, while also serving in a similar role at DFO Community Corrections since October 2014, focusing on individuals involved in the criminal justice system. Previously, Powell held positions as a Senior Probation Officer with Olmsted County Minnesota from September 1998 to October 2014, and as a Contract Pre-Sentence Investigation Writer for Olmsted County Adult Court Services in 1998. Additional experience includes a decade at DFO Community Corrections as a Clerical Specialist/Program Evaluator and volunteer work with Olmsted County Juvenile Services from January 1990 to February 1995. Powell earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of MN-Rochester Center and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Winona State University.
