Yuri Pilipenko

Yuri Pilipenko has had a varied and extensive work experience. Yuri started their career as a System Engineer at Accord, S.R.I., where they gained experience in research, design, and development of data encoding approaches and algorithms for the aerospace sector. Yuri then worked as a Senior Assistant at Cherkasy State Technical University, combining academic work with their PhD thesis on system approaches in manufacturing electronic systems and components.

Yuri later joined Alba Ukraine, where they held multiple roles including System Analyst, Software Developer, and System Administrator. Yuri was responsible for building the company's affiliate computer network and implementing an ERP system. After that, they joined ALTA Eastern Europe as a Technical Project Manager, leading implementation projects for PowerB2O MES software for automotive manufacturing companies worldwide. In addition, they managed the development roadmap for various modules and applications within the same software.

Yuri went on to join Avanti Systems Worldwide as a Senior Solution Architect and Head of Software Development. In this role, they worked on software solution design and development. Currently, they are serving as CEO of OLSOM, an IT company specializing in digitizing manufacturing operations. OLSOM offers solutions to connect the shop floor to the IT infrastructure, providing real-time visibility of factories and enabling proactive decision-making.

Yuri Pilipenko started their education in 1991 at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute', where they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering. Yuri successfully completed their studies in 1996. In 1997, they enrolled in the Cherkasy Engineering and Technological Institute for a post-graduate program in Project Management, which they completed in 2000.
