John E. Olsson

John concentrates on delivering outstanding projects and providing excellent service to the communities Olsson serves. In addition, he oversees practice leadership throughout the firm. John is responsible for establishing best practices in community engagement and client liaison activities on major multi-disciplinary regional projects; implementing growth strategies, and overseeing public-sector acquisitions. John joined Olsson in 1989 and has held several roles, including the leader of the firm’s Civil Municipal team, Lincoln office leader, and member of the firm’s first operations team.

John graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and earned a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
