Marcelo Wendling

Marcelo Wendling is the Vice President Of Engineering at OLX Brasil. Marcelo has also worked as the Head of Software Engineering | Partner at Agi from January 2021 to April 2022. Marcelo has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, working as an IT Developer Intern at Banrisul from June 2001 to November 2002 and as a Partner Account Executive at IBM from May 2010 to January 2021. In their role as a Partner Account Executive, Marcelo was responsible for leading global Dell HR projects in offshore model managing professionals around the world. Marcelo has also implemented the Agile methodology, definition of technical solution for interfaces between internal and external systems (PL/SQL), and definition of technical solution for HR applications globally used (Java). Marcelo has also been responsible for contact to the business area based on US for requirements gathering and schedule negotiation, as well as supporting team professional development.

Marcelo Wendling's educational career includes a Master's degree in Business Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, as well as a Bachelor of Computer Science from the same school. Marcelo also holds certifications from IBM in IBM Certified Manager, Delivery Project Executive, and IBM Advisory Project Manager; from Microsoft in Microsoft Certified Professional; and from Sun Microsystem in Sun Certified Programmer. Finally, they are also certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional.
