Claudio Gonçalves

Claudio Gonçalves is a skilled backend engineer with extensive experience in software development across various organizations. Currently serving as a Junior Backend Engineer at OLX since December 2024, Claudio previously worked at Truphone as a Software Engineer, focusing on transitioning core products from Java Microservices to Golang and enhancing client provisioning times. Prior to that, as a Junior Backend Engineer at Uphold Inc., Claudio utilized GraphQL and microservices for product feature enhancements. At Codavel, Claudio contributed to migrating the Bolina protocol to AWS and worked on autoscaling and Kubernetes deployments. Early in the career, an internship at IOTECH resulted in a dissertation on IoT, and involvement with AIS.SC UMinho was part of academic endeavors. Claudio is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Information Technology/Information Systems at Universidade do Minho, expected to complete in July 2025.
