Kate Thompson

Kate Thompson is an experienced professional with a robust background in administrative support, customer service, and business solutions. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant and Customer Service representative for the Olympic Regional Development Authority since November 2021, Kate supports the operations of Whiteface Mountain, a prominent ski resort. Prior to this role, significant tenure at AT&T spanned over 37 years, where Kate held several leadership positions including Director of AT&T Business Solutions Industry Analyst Relations and Director of AT&T Mobility & Business Solutions. Responsibilities included establishing strategic relationships with industry analysts, conducting market analyses, managing marketing launches, and overseeing executive office activities. Earlier experience includes roles at General Electric as a Project Manager and Software Developer. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Hamilton College.
