Appointed To Head Cross Country--biathlon Citizens Committee at Olympic Regional Development Authority

Pat Gallagher's work experience includes serving as a Board of Assessment Review member for the Town of North Elba since 2012. In 2006, they became a Bill Koch League Coach and Board Member for the Lake Placid Ski Club, where they expanded the program and collaborated with other organizations to provide more skiing opportunities for youth. In 2010, Pat was appointed to head the Cross Country-Biathlon Citizens Committee for the Olympic Regional Development Authority, where they played a role in upgrading Nordic facilities. Pat also served as the Chair of the Government Structure and Function sub-committee for the Lake Placid Development Commission, working on a comprehensive plan for the village. Additionally, they were a Steering Committee Member for the Land Use Code Rewrite in Lake Placid Village from 2007 to 2011. Prior to these roles, Pat served as Deputy Mayor and Commissioner for the Lake Placid Village Board from 2001 to 2009, overseeing the Police and Fire Departments.

Pat Gallagher attended Niagara University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Environmental Science. Additionally, they also studied Environmental Science at Niagara County Community College.
