Quinten Knijnenburg

Quinten Knijnenburg is an experienced educator and chemist with a longstanding career in chemistry teaching and research. Currently serving as a Chemistry Teacher at Olympus College since August 2013, Quinten previously held a similar position at CSG Willem de Zwijger from March 2010 to July 2013. Prior to that, Quinten was the Owner of Cat-Fix, a high-tech start-up focused on recycling homogeneous catalysts, from August 2006 to December 2009. Quinten's academic background includes a Ph.D. from Radboud University Nijmegen (2001-2005), post-doctoral work at the University of Amsterdam (2006-2007), and a master’s degree in science from Radboud University (1999-2001), along with further education in chemistry teaching from Utrecht University (2010-2011). Quinten's early career includes a role as a research scientist at Engelhard Corporation, focusing on fatty acid hydrogenation, in early 2006.
