Lyle Freedman

Lyle joined Olympus Insurance Company in November 2011 to develop an in-house data warehouse and analytic engine. In July 2013 he assumed the role of CTO. Lyle Freedman was most recently the Manager of Business Intelligence at Barnes and Noble where he and his team were responsible for the corporate reporting and analysis environment. Reports / Analysis included retail & internet sales, inventory, distribution, customer service, SEO / SEM, click stream analysis, loss prevention, coupon / promotion analysis, membership and customer analysis and all events related to the Nook – downloads, registration, repair etc. Leveraging the experience he gained with “big data” supporting 3 multi-terabyte databases concurrently, Lyle is applying this knowledge to gain insights into our policy and claim data.
