Jean-Philippe Bapst

Jean-Philippe Bapst has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jean-Philippe is currently the Head of Medical for the Swiss affiliate of OM Pharma, leading the Medical Department and overseeing 11 direct reports. Prior to this, they held various roles at Vifor Pharma, including Sales & Marketing Manager Respiratory for the Swiss affiliate, Head of Medical Affairs for the Swiss affiliate, and Asia/Pacific Business Unit Director Rx in the Singapore regional office. Jean-Philippe also worked at Astellas Pharma as a Medical Advisor, focusing on transplantation, dermatology, and urology. Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, Bapst worked as a pharmacist at Sun Store in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Jean-Philippe Bapst began their education in 1998 at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, where they completed propaedeutic exams in the field of pharmacy. Jean-Philippe then pursued their studies at the University of Basel from 2000 to 2003, earning an MSc - Federal Pharmacist Diploma in pharmacy. Continuing their academic journey, Bapst attended the University Hospital Basel from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a PhD in biomedical sciences.
