Myriam Troccaz has over 20 years of work experience in various scientific roles. Myriam started their career as a Junior Engineer at the Argonne National Laboratory, where they focused on nuclear power plant security. Myriam then worked as a Junior Engineer at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research, studying the organoleptic quality of tomatoes.
Troccaz furthered their education by pursuing a PhD at the Université de Genève, where they researched the biosynthesis pathway of sulphur-containing molecules in human sweat malodour. After completing their PhD, they joined Firmenich SA as a Scientist, conducting in-vitro and in-vivo antibacterial analysis. Myriam also collaborated with doctors, veterinarians, and dentists for clinical trials and sensorial studies.
In 2013, Troccaz joined HUG - Hopitaux Universitaires de Genève as a Biologist, before moving to OM Pharma Switzerland the following year. At OM Pharma Switzerland, they served as the Head of QC Microbiology Quality Control, overseeing the microbiology department.
Throughout their career, Troccaz has demonstrated expertise in molecular biology, data treatment, statistical analyses, and the implementation of automated procedures.
Myriam Troccaz obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Food Science & Molecular Biology from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse in Toulouse, France. Myriam completed this degree from 1995 to 2000. Following this, they pursued their passion for pharmaceuticals and obtained a PhD in pharmaceuticals from the University of Geneva. Myriam completed their PhD from 2005 to 2009.
