Matthew Tribby

Matthew Tribby is a skilled data engineer with extensive experience in building and managing data streaming pipelines, particularly using Apache Spark, Scala, and Python. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at OM1, Inc. since September 2021, Matthew previously held the role of Software Engineer at IBM from August 2019 to September 2021, where responsibilities included DevOps management and leading a team implementing Tekton CD. Prior experience includes volunteer work as a Back-End Engineer at The Coding School, where Matthew contributed to developing a student portal, and roles at Duke University as a Student Video Coordinator and Software Development Teaching Assistant. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Duke University and participated in the Data+ research program focusing on electronic medical records.
