Samad Osman, MBA/FCILT, has a comprehensive work experience in the logistics and automotive industries. Samad served as the Chief Operating Officer at OMA Group (West Africa) since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer, Area Africa (Sub Saharan Africa) at Hapag-Lloyd AG from March 2015 to December 2020. Their roles included Senior Vice President at IFRAMAC Ltd, GROUP CCO FOR AFRICA at Dubai Auto Gallery/Bajaj UAE, Cluster Director at AP MOLLER MAERSK/DAMCO, and Regional Manager at AP MOLLER MAERSK/DAMCO/SAFMARINE. Their expertise spans business development, market expansion, strategy implementation, and performance management across various regions in Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Samad Osman completed an Emerging Leadership Executive Course at the London Business School in 2008. In 2015, they became a Fellow Chartered Member at the Chartered Institution of Transport and Logistics UK. Samad pursued a diploma in Business Administration and Management at the University of Surrey in conjunction with the Mauritius Institute of Management. From 2018 to 2019, Samad earned a Master's degree in Finance and Organisation Transformation from Arden University. Samad also completed a Masters in Finance from Arden University in 2020.
