Tanner Collins is an experienced turf management professional with a focus on golf course maintenance. Currently serving as Assistant Superintendent at Omaha Country Club since September 2018, Tanner played a crucial role during the 2021 41st United States Senior Open by leading maintenance operations for holes 10-18 in collaboration with the USGA. Prior experience includes a position as Lead Assistant Superintendent at Silver Spring Country Club from January 2014 to September 2018, where Tanner oversaw a team of 30 and managed pesticide and plant nutrient applications. Tanner's foundation in the field began as an intern and assistant at Silver Spring Country Club and as student help at Southeast Community College-Beatrice, where essential skills in irrigation and equipment maintenance were developed. Tanner holds an Associate degree in Business Management and Technology with a specialization in Golf Course Management from Southeast Community College-Beatrice.
