Jessica Johnson

Jessica Johnson is an experienced library and educational professional with a diverse background in public service and community engagement. As the Borrower Services Manager at Omaha Public Library since October 2018, Jessica has honed skills in library management. Previously, Jessica served as the Director of Community Learning at Do Space, a pioneering free technology library, where oversight of a team focused on educational programming was a primary responsibility. Jessica's earlier experience includes serving as Campus Library Director at Wright Career College, where foundational policies and collections were developed. Jessica began the professional journey as an ESL and Special Education Paraprofessional at Fremont Public Schools, significantly contributing to student achievement. Educational credentials include a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
