Laura Marlane

Laura Marlane is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Omaha Public Library since September 2015. Prior to this role, Laura held the position of Executive Director at Community Libraries of Providence from September 2009 to August 2015, overseeing the operations of nine community libraries. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Director at Barrington Public Library, Substitute Reference Librarian at Bryant University, and Director at Central Falls Public Library, among others. Laura's educational background includes a Master’s in Library and Information Studies from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Rhode Island College.
