Ned Waltz

Ned Waltz, PE, SE, currently serves as the Lead Engineer in Substation Engineering at Omaha Public Power District since March 2024. Prior to this role, Ned held several positions at Supportworks, Inc. from July 2015 to March 2024, including Senior Structural Engineer and Product Engineering Manager, as well as Structural Engineer. Ned also worked as a Structural Engineer, E.I. at InfraStructure, LLC from August 2013 to July 2015, where responsibilities included designing precast concrete structures. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Engineer - Structures at Associated Engineering, Inc. and an internship at Midwest Steel Works, Inc. Ned began the professional journey in construction with RCC Services in the summer of 2007. Ned earned a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
