Niki Kutz

Niki Kutz has extensive experience in the power generation industry, currently serving as the Supervisor of Training in the Production Operations Division at Omaha Public Power District since May 2001. In this role, Niki Kutz oversees the delivery of critical training programs for fossil stations and Combustion Turbine plants, covering areas such as Fire Brigade, Rope Rescue, First Aid/CPR/AED, EMT, HAZWOPER, and operator certification. Previous positions include Training Coordinator at the Nebraska City Station, where compliance with regulatory training standards was ensured, and Unit and Assistant Unit Operator at North Omaha Station, responsible for plant operations and emergency response. Niki Kutz's career began at Basin Electric Power Cooperative as an Operator, monitoring process operations and managing the transfer of chemicals. Niki Kutz holds a degree in Power Plant Technology from Bismarck State College.
