Randy Johnsen

Randy Johnsen is a highly experienced network engineering professional with a career spanning over 25 years. Currently serving as the Lead Network Engineering Specialist at Omaha Public Power District since March 2014, Randy has a comprehensive skill set including expertise in Cisco and non-Cisco network platforms and protocols, firewall configurations, and wireless management systems. Prior to this role, Randy held the position of Senior Network Engineer at Alegent Creighton Health from April 1997 to January 2014, where duties included troubleshooting networks, improving security for HIPAA compliance, and conducting training for staff. Randy also has a strong foundation in microanalysis and technical consulting, having contributed to the design and implementation of database systems and user support during earlier professional experiences. Randy holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science Network Technology from Metropolitan Community College.
