Charles Wakefield

Charles Wakefield, PHR, currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer at Omaha Public Schools, a position held since July 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Recruitment, Staffing and Talent Management, and Principal at Wichita Public Schools from 2005 to July 2015. Charles earned a Master's degree in Secondary School Administration/Principalship and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Newman University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Accounting from Wichita State University.
