Martie Cordaro

Martie Cordaro has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Martie started their career in 1984 as a Property Manager for Today's Realty, Inc., a position they held until 1998. In 1987, they also worked as a Drummer for Stonybridge / Squint / Pummel until 1998.

In 1996, Cordaro joined Louisiana Tech University Athletics as the Director of Promotions and Marketing, a role they held until 1998. Martie then transitioned to the sports industry, working as the Director of Sales for the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx from 1999 to 2002, and the Birmingham Barons Baseball Club from 2002 to 2004.

Cordaro's career continued to progress, and from 2004 to 2006, they served as the General Manager for the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays. In 2006, they joined the Omaha Storm Chasers as the President and General Manager, a role they held until 2019. From May 2019 onwards, Cordaro became the President of Union Omaha, and they are currently serving in that role.

Martie Cordaro completed their high school education at Ruston High School from 1987 to 1991. During this time, they focused on studying music, marketing, and baseball. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Louisiana Tech University from 1991 to 1998. At the university, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, demonstrating their interest and commitment to the field.

Omaha Storm Chasers

The Omaha Storm Chasers are the Triple-A affiliate of the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals. The Storm Chasers were back-to-back Triple-A National Champions in 2013 & 2014. The Chasers play at beautiful Werner Park, located in Papillion, Nebraska. Werner Park features numerous amenities for everyone! Our group party areas, picnics and suites are great for companies looking to entertain clients or employees. Families can bring a blanket and relax on the McDonald's Berm before heading to the Centris Family Fun Zone which includes bounce houses, inflatables, and a carousel! The Borsheim's Diamond whiffleball field and mini golf are other great amenities along with an array of concession items for any fan. Don't forget about the Bud Light Downdraught bar or the Cresa club to grab a beer or cocktail while enjoying the game. 2018 will mark the 50th season in franchise history as we will celebrate all decades each month of the baseball year. We will kick off the 50th season with a Kansas City Royals exhibition game at Werner Park on March 26, 2018.
