Syed Saad Nasir

Syed Saad Nasir is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Flight Operations Engineering at Oman Air since August 2019. In this role, Syed skillfully analyzes aircraft performance parameters to enhance operational efficiency and fuel economy, and develops contingency procedures for safe flight operations. Prior to Oman Air, Syed worked at Airblue for eight years as a Senior Performance Engineer, focusing on aircraft induction and modification evaluation, as well as weight management in compliance with regulatory standards. Syed's career began at Etilize as a Technical Knowledge Engineer, where skills in creating technical specifications for IT and electronic products were honed. Syed holds a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Controls & Automation and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics, both from Hamdard University, Pakistan.
