Basel Hamed

Basel Hamed has over a decade of experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Core and Integration Platforms Manager at Oman Arab Bank since October 2011. Basel has expertise in programming with IBM Integration Bus, Java, RPGLE, and K2 Workflow, alongside responsibilities in administration for IBM Integration Bus and DB2 on Windows platforms. Previous roles include API & Service Integration Manager and System Development Architecture, where Basel managed core banking systems and provided 24/7 business-critical support for Misys applications. Prior experience at Arab Bank as an IT Application Specialist involved testing and implementing system upgrades for core banking. Basel holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Al-Balqa'a University, completed in 2008.
