Alia Cabañez-Sy has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Alia began their career as a Student Disc Jockey at Mellow 94.7 in 2009 before working as a Radio Announcer and Disc Jockey at Radyo Natin Manila. In 2010, they served as an Executive Assistant at Unique Solutions LLC and later as a Marketing Officer at High Seas Shipping Agency LLC. From 2011 to 2012, they worked in Communications and Client Relations at IBC. Alia then joined 3AsiaPacific as a Marketing and Business Development professional from 2012 to 2014. Alia then transitioned to become an Executive Assistant to the President at Philippine FoodAsia Corp. from 2014 to 2016. Following that, they worked as an EA to the CEO at Oman Flour Mills Company (S.A.O.G) before moving on to become an EA to the Chief Executive Officer at Oman Cables Industry SAOG in 2017. Most recently, in 2023, they began their current role as a MEART DE&I Local Partner at Prysmian Group.
Alia Cabañez-Sy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Southville International School and Colleges. Alia also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Mapúa University.
