Zainab Al Lawati is a Sustainability Specialist and Board Secretary at the Oman Center for Governance and Sustainability, a role held since April 2014. Upon issuance of the Royal Decree 30/2015, the Oman Centre for Governance and Sustainability (“OCGS”) was established officially on 12th July 2015 under the name of Oman Centre for Governance and Sustainability. Its evolution process started with Oman Center of Corporate Governance which was established in 2010 on the approval of the Council of Ministers. The OCGS is dedicated to establish sound governance and sustainability, and is committed to the dissemination and application of best practices in these two fields and promoting the capacity building and role of board members , senior executive management, and professional staff The Center is unique with credentials and is recognized specialized body on Corporate Governance and Sustainability. It provides an opportunity to be a member in the only entity that deals with Corporate Governance and Sustainability.
