Maqboul Al-Wahaiby is an experienced leader in the IT sector, currently serving as CEO and General Manager of Oman Data Park since April 2012. In these roles, Maqboul Al-Wahaiby plays a crucial part in guiding the company towards its mission through five core operational pillars: IT Service Delivery, IT Security, Sales and Marketing, HR and Finance, and Procurement. Under Maqboul Al-Wahaiby’s leadership, Oman Data Park has successfully provided unique services in Data Center Colocation, IT Managed Services, and Cloud Services to the Omani market. Prior to this, Maqboul Al-Wahaiby held positions in the government sector, including Assistant Director, where the ICT team was led, and Head of Software Development, focusing on software solution development and management. Maqboul Al-Wahaiby is pursuing an MBA at Strathclyde Business School and holds a Master’s in Software Engineering from the University of York, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Staffordshire.
