Yousuf is currently serving as the AGM - Head of Human Capital at Oman Housing Bank S.A.O.C. Prior to this, they worked at Sohar International, where they held various positions such as VP & Head - Total Rewards & HR Digitalization, Vice President & Head - Organizational Development, AVP & Head - Organizational Development, AVP & Head - Talent Planning & Acquisition, and Unit Head - Talent Planning & Acquisition. At Sohar International, they also led important projects such as the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud System and the upgrade of Oracle ERP (HRMS) to R12. Prior to their time at Sohar International, Yousuf worked at Oxy as a Compensation Specialist and at Bank Sohar as a Manager - Compensation & Benefits.
Yousuf Al-Araimi, SHRM-SCP, MBA, has a diverse education history. Yousuf obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Strathclyde from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Translation (English-Arabic) from Sultan Qaboos University, graduating between 2003 and 2008.
In addition to their degrees, Yousuf Al-Araimi has also obtained several professional certifications. In 2023, they earned the Certified Digital HR Specialist certification from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR. In 2022, they achieved the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential from SHRM and became a Professional Member of the Reward & Employee Benefits Association (REBA). Yousuf had previously become a Professional Member of SHRM in 2021. Furthermore, in 2018, they obtained the Certified PPA Practitioner certification from Thomas International, and in 2017, they received the Psytech Testing Certificate from Psytech International.

Oman Housing Bank (SAOC) was established on 11.07.1977 as an Omani stock company by virtue of the Royal Decree No. 51/77 with a capital of RO. 10 million, as successor of Oman National Housing Development Co., which had been involved in housing financing in Oman since 1974.
