Atif al Barwani

Atif Al Barwani has extensive experience in contract and procurement management. Atif began their career at Shell in 2005, where they served as a Contract and Procurement Manager. In this role, they led market research, negotiated terms with suppliers, and monitored performance metrics to improve department output. Atif then moved on to Qalhat LNG in 2008, where they continued their work as a Contract and Procurement Manager. Here, they designed and implemented commercial governance structures, developed strategic sourcing functions, and managed all major corporate contracts and agreements. In 2013, Al Barwani joined Oman LNG L.L.C., initially serving as the Head of Contract and Procurement. In this capacity, they directed the purchasing department and deployed comprehensive procurement management systems. Later, they became the Civil Projects Manager, successfully completing a prestigious project on time and below budget. Currently, they hold the position of Civil Project Director at Oman LNG L.L.C.

Atif Al Barwani holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Hull, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Atif also has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Sultan Qaboos University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. In addition, Atif Al Barwani has obtained a certification in Word 2016: Formatting and Styles in Depth from LinkedIn, although the exact month of the certification is not specified.
