Sourav Bairagi is a CEng, MIChemE professional with extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Sourav currently serves as the Principal Technologist at Oman LNG L.L.C., where they lead a team of process engineers in optimizing LNG production, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and maintaining utility system reliability. Prior to this, Sourav worked at Nigeria LNG Limited as the Principal Front End Development Lead and Senior Frontend Developement Lead, overseeing large-scale utility upgrade projects and managing the Effluent Treatment Plant Project. Sourav also has experience as a Senior Process Engineer at Shell, where they provided technical consultancy and contributed to feasibility studies and concept development for LNG JV assets in the Asia Pacific region. Sourav's career began at Shell Global Solutions as a Technologist and Process Engineer, where they focused on improving customer value proposition and developing design packages for various downstream projects. Overall, Sourav has a strong background in process engineering and project management in the oil and gas industry.

Sourav Bairagi holds an M. Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Sourav also holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Sourav is an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
