Dr K al Jabri

Dr K Al Jabri has worked as the Director General of Operations and Plans at the Royal Navy of Oman from July 2017 to April 2020. Dr K is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Oman Sail since April 2020.

Dr K Al Jabri earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Strategic and Social Studies from the University of Exeter in 2012. In 2014 and 2015, Dr Al Jabri pursued further education at the National Defense University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Strategic Security and a Diploma in International Security and Combating Terrorism. In 2013, they completed an Endorsed Programme in Strategic Planning Specialist from the Institute of Leadership and Management in the UK. Prior to these accomplishments, Dr Al Jabri completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Defence Studies from the University of London in 2005. Moreover, they obtained a Diploma from the Britannia Royal Naval College in 1989-1990, focusing on Officers Training Academy. Dr K also holds a Diploma in Naval Science and Operational Studies from the same college. Furthermore, Dr Al Jabri obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Military Studies with a focus on Advanced Joint Command and Staff Study from the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in 2004-2005. Additionally, they pursued Warfare Studies at the Warfare School at Royal Navy of Oman in 1994-1995.
