Ghassan al-Hashar

Ghassan Al-Hashar serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Omantel since March 2021. With a strong background in finance and investment management, Ghassan has previously held significant roles including Board Director positions at National Life & General Insurance Company SAOG, Oman National Investments Development Company S.A.O.C. "TANMIA", National Bank of Oman, and Sohar Power Company SAOG, among others. Ghassan's extensive career includes over two decades of experience in the financial sector, notably as Investment Director at the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI). Educational qualifications include a Senior Executive Programme from London Business School, an MSc in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Aberdeen, and multiple certifications related to finance and investment.
